The Circle Line is a must for kids of all ages. I would choose to go on the Zephyr. This is a one hour cruise that sails up the Hudson river passing some impressive landmarks including the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building and the Brooklyn Bridge. You also get a close up view of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. If you buy tickets in advance you'll get a discount. The prices are $23 for adults and $13 for kids. I'm certain the kids would love this.
