Our Trip

Our San Francisco trip was super fun. I know these trips sound weird, but they are a great chance to get to review hotel chains and find things to do around the airport that not many people ever do. We stayed in the airport Embassy Suites which I've always wanted to stay in an Embassy Suites because I've heard they are great and I would say this one definitely lives up to the hype. This is one of their older hotels and it was still very nice. The room was fantastic. They had just remodeled so they had brand new beds and bathrooms and every room had two flat screen tvs. The cook to order complimentary breakfast was of course the best part. It out did any hotel breakfast I've ever had. So after breakfast and swimming we decided to explore a little, so we walked down to the Oyster Point Marina. I was expecting just a boat dock by the bay, but it was so beautiful. They had a hotel and nice restaurant there and then there was a gorgeous walk way that went all the way around the marina lining the waterway. We got to walk out on a fishing pier and my daughter was able to watch one of them catch a giant halibut. After a light lunch the hotel shuttle came and picked us up. So that was pretty much the extent of our trip but I would have to say it was just the perfect little vacation for my daughter. Nothing too extravagent, but still pretty exciting.
