When I think of where I would like to stay on my trip to Paris I picture a quiet cobblestone street that feels very French. My brother has traveled to Paris on a number of occasions and his favorite choice for a place to stay is near the Rue Cler. This is a village-like street lined with open produce stands right in the heart of Paris. It is near the Eiffel Tower and within walking distance to a metro station. Rick Steves is also a fan of the Rue Cler and has some excellent hotel recommendations. I think my choice would be The Hotel Leveque.
