This week's destination...New York City. I have a couple of reasons for choosing New York. First and most important, my big brother is now a resident. He just started a job as a chef of The Blaue Gans and moved into an apartment building right downtown. I don't know much about the restaurant itself except for it's Austrian and he's very excited to work there. He's mostly thrilled about the fact that he's living in New York. Second, I went to New York when I was about 12 years old and for some reason it is one of the trips that stands out to me over all of the others. It was a very exciting place to me and I've wanted to return there ever since. So hopefully if my bro will let us crash on his floor, this is one of the trips we may be taking sooner than later. I've debated on whether or not I'd want to take the kids with me because I've been told that it's such a busy, crowded place that it can be dangerous for small children but there are so many fun things for them to do that I think the pros will outway the cons in this situation. So I will be focusing all of my attention on traveling to New York with my family.
